CCC- eternal life with the Holy Trinity, with the virgin Mary and all the angels and saints is called HEAVEN
SCRIPTURE- IMAGES- place of peace, wedding feast, fathers house, heavenly Jerusalem, paradise.
WHO CAN GO TO HEAVEN
Anyone and everyone can- if he dies in gods grace and converts before his death

THE FINAL PURIFICATION (PURGATORY)
CCC- All who die in Gods grace are assured an eternal purification to receive holiness necessary to enter heaven.
THEY DESCRIBE THIS AS A CLEANSING THROUGH FIRE
a person goes through this purgatory in order to decide where he belongs
ST. PAUL- each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
HELL
if we die without repenting and without accepting Gods love means we are separated from him
SCRIPTURE- God warns us that we shall be separated from him if we fail to meet the needs of the poor and the little one.
JESUS-
often speaks about the unquenchable fire which is for those who to the end of their lives refuse to convert and believe in god.
these people are throw into hell where both their body and soul die.

hell is eternal separation from god
GOD CALLS US TO REPENT
god desires no one to go to hell and hence is constantly reminding us of what is important and what wants us to convert every day
ST. PAUL-
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.
